The accommodation itself offers three bedrooms – two with double beds and one single (with a trundle bed underneath) – a family bathroom, sitting room with dining area and separate kitchen.

There is parking for up to three cars to the front of the cottage and an enclosed and secure rear garden, which is safe for children and dogs to play.

Scalp Cottage is our much-loved family home. It has been enjoyed by four generations of our family and has provided us with so many memories. It is our ‘happy place’. We are sure you will feel the same.

2 dogs (3 on request) are welcome (£25 additional charge).

Entrance porch: With space to store wellies and coats. This leads to the hallway, from which the living area, bedrooms and bathrooms are accessed.

Sitting room with dining area: Offering garden views and a glazed door out to the garden. There is a compact dining table with four chairs, three-seater sofa and two easy chairs. Television with Freeview and DVD player.

Kitchen: Modern kitchen with fitted units, an integrated electric hob, oven and grill. There is an under counter fridge with a miniature freezer space, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave.

Master bedroom: This room has a queen-sized double bed, chest of drawers, and built-in wardrobe.

Double bedroom: Second bedroom with double bed (please note, this bed can only be accessed from one side) and a small chest of drawers.

Single bedroom: Single bed (with a trundle bed underneath) and a chest of drawers.

Family bathroom: Bath with electric shower over, wash basin and WC.

Outside: To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed and private garden, laid mainly to lawn, with garden furniture for four people.
